Another great Advent Angels day.

The fabulous Hannah Barnwell, from Hannah’s Kitchen, surprised Deirdre and Malcolm Rogers with a delicious afternoon tea for two. The couple were nominated by their daughter for a treat to cheer them up after eight months of lockdown together, with Malcolm caring for Deirdre who sadly lives with dementia.

ICA befriending star Monica Young donated two delicious, homemade tea loaves, fresh from the oven and ICA volunteer, Edgar Rowe, delivered them as a thank you from the community to the volunteer team at Portland Foodbank, who work so hard to provide essential food and supplies to local families and individuals struggling financially.
