We would like to say a big thank you to Albion Stone for their kind donation of £650 towards our Helping Hands project.

Helping Hands provides services for older people and those impacted by disability and / or serious, life limiting or terminal illness.

Jordan Poultney, the company’s director, says, “Albion Stone are keen to support local charities. We have been made aware of the excellent work that Island Community Action continues to deliver for Portland and the local area. We have agreed with our customers not to give and Christmas cards and gifts and have, instead, donated this money to a fantastic local Charity.”

ICA receives no long-term funding for Helping Hands, so we are hugely grateful for the contributions made by Albion Stone.
