HAVE YOUR SAY AND HELP BUILD THE FOUNDATION FOR POSITIVE CHANGE ACROSS OUR ISLAND…

In February, Portland’s community came together with members of Dorset’s Integrated Care System (ICS), which is made up of the NHS, councils and groups from the community and voluntary sector.

The event focused on resident’s most significant health-based challenges and ended with a commitment from the ICS to continue the conversation and work towards improving services for local people.

Since that event an ICS steering group, supported by ICA, has been listening to and collecting feedback from local people regarding their everyday lives, challenges and needs.

These Community Conversations will culminate on Friday 1st of December, with a drop-in event to let people know more about this and other work that has been happening behind the scenes since February’s meeting.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU to come along, chat to people who work across Dorset’s ICS, find out more information on the key themes local people have told us are important to them and, CRITICALLY, feedback your own views. Staff will be on hand to hear your reflections, questions, and hopes for the future.
